The fame and fortune following the release of "Bending the Truth" proved to be exhausting and overwhelming for Patrick and Eric, and it took a while to get writing again and put together their next EP. For "Let It Go", the duo set out to reproduce the sound of their live set. No frills, no overdubs, just single takes and lots of tea. They pulled it off with all the missteps and imperfections, as well as the moments they stumbled upon that just wouldn't happen in the studio. Patrick and Eric recorded and mixed this EP themselves. They sing about love and coming home after being away. Little did they know it would become the theme of their lives...
